NAI Comments on Proposed Amendments to the Colorado Privacy Act Rules

On November 7, 2024, the NAI submitted comments to the Colorado Department of Law in response to its Request for Comment on the proposed draft amendments to the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) rules. The comments express strong support for the Department’s proposed amendments, which implement a process for issuing opinion letters and providing interpretive guidance. The NAI believes these efforts will foster more robust compliance with the CPA than enforcement alone, ultimately resulting in better privacy protections for consumers.
