Meaghan Donohue Joins the NAI Team as Counsel

The NAI has hired Meaghan Donohue as Counsel for Compliance and Policy, building on a team of experts in data privacy, public policy, and advertising law, during a time of increased emphasis on the NAI’s three pillars of Privacy, Trust, and Accountability. With experience in privacy, telecommunications, and policy, Meaghan will be a key resource for members as they look to understand and navigate a constantly evolving legal and regulatory landscape for digital advertising. She will work with members on the compliance process and as part of the NAI policy team to inform members about legal and regulatory developments. Meaghan also will help implement NAI’s educational and advocacy efforts with policymakers.

Meaghan graduated from American University in 2019 and will receive her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in May 2022. While in law school, Meaghan interned at the Future of Privacy Forum, NTIA, The Information Technology Industry Council, New America’s Open Technology Institute, and The Electronic Privacy Information Center. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and serves as the Managing Note and Comment Editor of Catholic’s Journal of Law and Technology, where she published an article detailing the impact of state privacy legislation on the advertising technology industry.
