The NAI Welcomes Jason Snyder as Counsel, Compliance and Public Policy
WASHINGTON, DC (December 2, 2024) – The Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), the leading privacy and self-regulatory association for digital advertising technology companies, is pleased to announce Jason Snyder is joining the organization as Counsel, Compliance & Public Policy.
Jason received his J.D. from Northeastern University. While in law school, Jason interned at Ascend Learning and the Future of Privacy Forum, where he gained experience in key privacy and compliance issues. At FPF, he worked on projects analyzing legislative developments, privacy risks in emerging technologies and Global Privacy Control mechanism. His work at Ascend Learning included research and audits on marketing practices such as session replay technology and children’s advertising, supporting the development of compliant and ethical privacy practices. Jason will join the NAI compliance and public policy teams in helping members understand and comply with the NAI accountability program, in addition to helping the NAI engage with federal and state regulators on data privacy, self-regulation, and the digital advertising industry.
“I’m thrilled to join the NAI team and to contribute to their critical work in promoting responsible data use and advancing privacy in the digital advertising industry,” said Snyder. “I look forward to collaborating with the team and NAI members to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and ensure ethical practices in AdTech.”
