Special Assistant Attorney General of California Justin Erlich Joins Lineup of Summit Speakers

We are very pleased to announce that Justin Erlich, the special assistant attorney general to California Attorney General Kamala Harris, will join us at the upcoming NAI Summit in San Francisco on April 13, 2016.

As Attorney General Harris’s principal advisor on technology and data, Mr. Erlich will bring a unique and valuable perspective to our Summit discussion. He will offer remarks as part of the opening keynote presentations.

In his current position, Mr. Erlich oversees the California Department of Justice’s involvement in policy issues such as open data, privacy, cyber-security, the sharing economy, and clean tech. Mr. Erlich is currently driving multiple operational initiatives including OpenJustice (openjustice.doj.ca.gov), an internal research capacity, an innovation unit, a digital citizen engagement strategy, and a digital forensics/cyber accelerator.

Before coming to the attorney general’s office, Mr. Erlich was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. As a part of the State & Local practice, he worked with government agencies on designing and implementing long-term strategic plans.
